Britain has this week enjoyed a rather lovely heatwave, with the sunny weather putting a smile on all of our faces. Not only has this made the working week that bit more bearable, but the warm weather has got us all thinking about our summer holiday.
If you have a trip abroad planned then you may be starting to think about your all-important beach look. This is why today, we explore a few make-up tips for those wanting to apply make-up before heading to the seaside.
Bronzer
The summer months are all about letting your skin breathe, ditching the heavy foundation for a nice, light moisturiser. Though your skin may feel nice, you will still want to add a splash of colour on your cheeks. This is why you should always take a nice bronzer in your beach bag, giving your skin a bit of help in achieving that holiday glow.
Gloss
Again, keeping your look natural but glam on the beach is a must. So, always carry a clear lip-gloss with you. This will plump up your lips without the need for strategic lip lining or lipstick blending. While we have suggested a clear gloss, glosses with a splash of red or orange also work well.
Waterproof mascara
Nowadays, many choose to have individual false eyelashes done before jetting off abroad. If you decide against this or simply did not have to time to visit your Beautician, be sure to pack a waterproof mascara. Brightening up the eyes without leaving big black smears in the pool, this really is a must-have holiday item.
So, there you have it, the three things you need to look your best on the beach this year.
