5 Dying Beauty Trends

The end of another fashionable and full of new trends year is approaching and the New Year and new beginnings are just around the corner. The makeup industry has been in a full bloom and 2018 is predicted to be nothing less. The bloggers and the social media in general have presented and promoted the biggest beauty news and trends this year. We all have eagerly accepted them, but some of them will just not survive next year. The most famous makeup artists in the world have summed up the 5 makeup trends that will not be trending next year. They suggest that either you modify them or just leave them out. According to the professionals, these 5 trends that were huge in 2017 will be totally out in the next 2018:

Overly accented highlighter

Shine is continuing to be very trendy, but not in the form of overly highlighted cheekbones. Summer 2017 has been all about the shiniest cheeks and the highlighter was used more than ever. The next season do not try this trend. Overly accented highlighter is so out, and the illuminators are in. Do not go to the extremes with glowing. Next year, the subtle glow is the perfect example of fresh and natural face.

Strict contouring

Along with the trend of accented highlighter came the trend of strict contouring. Until now, everything was about contouring – both day and night. For 2018, the makeup artists suggest that you leave the contouring only for very special night occasions and maybe for the red carpet. All the other occasions are totally required to be contour free.

Heavy eyebrow

The attention to brows has never been greater then this past year. The bushy, boyfriend brows can stay in 2017, and for 2018, the makeup artists suggest natural, full brows, but not so dense. The heavy brow does not leave any freshness in the look, so when doing your brows, do them minimally.

Cake face

From the runways to the streets, the natural face is going to be your go-to makeup look in 2018. The healthy, fresh and natural face is all what the makeup artists are cheering for. The cake face with tons of foundation and concealer is already in the past. Go for light foundations and powders that will show the skin and not create a mask.

Huge lips

The insanity about the full lips does not seem to slow down. But, the makeup artists are suggesting the huge lips are not for everyone. In 2018 stay true to your lips, just the way they are. Don’t overdo them with drawing them, it looks very artificial, and the natural is the motto for 2018 makeup and beauty.
