Everything can be learned. Every skill is mastered and every process is perfected through the course of time. Especially when it comes to makeup! Time and practice makes it perfect. From the earliest days when we start using makeup, we learn many new and different things, and as trends change, we adopt them and insert them into our beauty routine. The application of makeup is a whole artistic process that, if done, properly, results in a good and beautiful makeup look. If all the proper steps are followed, then there is no miss and you will gather many compliments.  For that to happen, many makeup artists suggest that you should implement and learn these application steps and tips.

Preparation

Preparing the face for the makeup is huge part of the process. Start with thoroughly washing your face. This will erase all the marks from the previous makeup. Use a product that suits your skin and treats it at the same time. After washing it, apply a hydrating toner that will keep the skins moisture balanced. The last part of the preparation is to apply a moisturizer. The moisturizer is an excellent base for the makeup.

Makeup application

As soon as the skin is properly prepared, the process of application can begin. The first product to use is the primer, whose purpose is to keep the makeup safe on your face. After the primer comes the application of foundation. The foundation can be applied with the proper tools like the silicon sponge, makeup sponge or foundation brushes. Leave the application with fingers to minimal. As soon as the foundation is evenly applied to all of your face, leave it to dry out. This way, you can see if you have missed some spots or if some corners need correction. Be especially careful to the part around the nose and go a bit lower on your neck. After the foundation is applied, the next step is contouring. For this, use a cream or powder bronzer. Apply it along the jawline for better visual effect. After the contouring is finished, move to doing your brows and eyes.

Finishing touches

When you are done with all of the above mentioned steps, look yourself in the mirror and apply the finishing touches. This means that it is time to use the finishing powder. With the brush, swipe it all over your face. This will seal your look and the makeup will not be disturbed. Add a shiner or illuminating powder to your nose line, cheekbones and neck line. The shimmering effect will give your look elegancy.

Take these advices from the makeup artists and upgrade your beauty routine!
