In the wonderfully modern and accepting world we live in, we are seeing pretty much everyone experimenting with their look, using makeup to create their individual style. From men to women to adult to children, most of us now have go-to makeup products.
While we believe everyone has the right to craft their own unique look, the subject of children and makeup is always a tad divisive.
And, just this week, the subject has been debated in the mainstream. This comes after Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter, North West, has been photographed fully made up. Where some social media followers believe she looks great, others question her parents, believing North to be too young to wear heavy makeup.
But, it appears that we won’t be seeing many more of the snaps, with Kanye West apparently banning his 6-year-old daughter from wearing makeup altogether.
“She loves makeup but her dad won’t let her wear it,” Kardashian said.
“I think he had it; he changed all the rules. I’d let her wear, you know, she has a little red for Christmas, I’d let her wear a red lip, or I’d let her do one pop of something. I’d let her, if she’s wearing a black dress, a black lip.”
