In the time of Instragram and social media where you can pretty much learn to do anything, we can say for sure that makeup tips are among first five on the list. The makeup has always been important part of women’s beauty and now, when we can have all the celebrities’ makeup secret on our feed, it is even easier. The makeup artists, in general, do share their tips and secrets on doing different types of makeup. Being true professionals in what they do, they have dedicated their life to perfecting the craft of makeup, have the skill and work their magic on the faces of their customers. The most famous makeup artists have summed up the important pro tips that you need to put into your makeup routine so that you can achieve your pro makeup game.

Use moisturizer

Every makeup artist starts with a moisturizer and this is something that you can always find in their makeup kit. Prepare your skin with moisturizer that will give hydration and beautiful glow.

Eye drops for red eyes

For the red eyes and eliminating the redness, the makeup artists regularly use eye drops. These drops have the effect of calming the eye and the redness goes away.

Primers in apricot and peach for bright skin

The primers in apricot and peach shade are perfect for brightening up the skin, freshen up the skin tone and giving the natural look. These are the shades that go well on darker skin tones and complexion. Use them to cover the dark circles and imperfections.

Powder between primer and foundation

What many people do not know is that if you want to make your makeup last longer, the powder should be applied over the primer, before the foundation. This will secure the primer and not affect the foundation.

BeautyBlender for foundations application

Every makeup artist has this magical makeup sponge in their kit. As you already know, the sponge is great for application, blending and contouring because of its form and it feels soft on the face. Its shape allows you to access all the parts of the face. So, use it for applying foundations and forget the fingers.

Cream Blush and highlighter under foundation

Applying a cream blush, bronzer or highlighter under the foundation is a tip that will result in natural and glowy skin. For this to work, the foundation must be lightweight because if you choose a heavier one, the effect will not be achieved.

Choose the right colour

Choosing the right colour for everything considering makeup is crucial if you want to look good. For red imperfections on your skin, apply a green concealer. Find your best foundation shade considering you skin colour and undertones. Always go one shade darker than your skin colour. For the eye shadows, bear in mind that golden colours go better on a warmer skin tones.

Thin strokes for natural brows

Doing your brows is another important part of the pro makeup game. To beautify them, use a brow pencil or a brush and make thin strokes that will look like hair strokes. This will make the brows look more natural, fuller, and for the finish, use a brow gel to accent the effect.
